Hi everyone.
We will be using FanTrax as the official scoring center for the league. There are only a few things you need to know about it before we can get started. 1. I will send everyone an invite to manage their particular team 2. You are in charge of setting your lineup/pitching staff On a daily basis, each owner should set their lineups/pitchers if they so choose. You do not need to post anything here in order to, say, move Nick Swisher from a bench spot to a starting spot. Any official transactions such as demotions/promotions, DL, trades, will be processed by me as rapidly as I can. 3. FanTrax is the easiest (and only) way to check your current standing. Use it to find out what you need to improve on your team. You can sort through all 30 teams by each particular scoring category. It's also a good place to see news on your players.
As a reminder, there is an optional $2.67 fee for each team if you want to help me pay for FanTrax. I will provide the link to this soon.

"Any official transactions such as demotions/promotions, DL, trades, will be processed by me as rapidly as I can."
Do owners need to post all demotions/promotions from/and/to their MLB rosters, all DL moves, as well as trades on probaords? Trade we understand would require approval, but ordinary roster moves?
Are you saying we can't just move a guy from our majors down to our minors or slide an injured player into a DL slot without first checking you the Commish on proboards?

Yes, these roster moves are not as ordinary as you might think because each one requires the movement of players from one roster to another. Moving a player from the 25 to 40 man roster requires using an option. Moving a player from the 25 or 40 to your minors requires you to either waive or DFA the player. Trades of course, require approval. I'd like to discuss the DL moves though in the first meeting. That might be changed if enough people see it as reasonable.
