Thought this would be fun. Post your HOF ballot. You need not be limited to 10 selections. Feel free to provide commentary on each selection. We can tally up the ballots once to thread die down and see who made it in. Here are some names to pick from: www.baseball-reference.com/awards/hof_2016.shtmlHere is my ballot: Ken Griffey Jim Edmonds - Stark's article swayed me: espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/14509820/jayson-stark-explains-2016-hall-fame-ballotMike Piazza Jeff Bagwell Tim Raines - See Stark as well. I don't understand how it has taken this long to get some momentum, and I'm still not certain he'll get in. Curt Schilling Roger Clemens - PEDs have been part of the game for a long time. They will continue to be. This guy was one of the best pitchers ever. Barry Bonds - Same as Clemens, but he may be the best player ever. Edgar Martinez Mark McGwire Those that didn't make the cut: Hall of very good: Jeff Kent Fred McGriff Larry Walker Gary Sheffield Sammy Sosa - For some reason I can't seem to put him in the same class as McGwire. Nomar Garciaparra Closers: Billy Wagner - Great numbers, but doesn't pass gut test. Trevor Hoffman - Despite a long career of top notch numbers, he doesn't pass my gut test either.

1. Ken Griffey- No doubt about it 2. Mike Piazza- Greatest hitting catcher ever, and I'm inclined to believe he was not PED-induced 3. Jeff Bagwell- The minor league HR total casts some doubt, but I was a huge fan, and I WANT to believe that he was not PED-induced 4. Tim Raines 5. Curt Schilling 6. Jeff Kent 7. Fred McGriff 8. Trevor Hoffman- As a Padres fan, I have to vote him in. I think he deserves it, but I don't think he'll get in. What he was able to do for so long at a position that doesn't see a lot of longevity, plus reinventing his career after a major injury, are good reasons. I don't think its fair to penalize him for not having the caliber of team that Mariano Rivera got to enjoy while playing on consistent playoff teams.
