The playoffs will be four weeks long. In other words, the regular season will end with four full weeks to spare for H2H playoff match-ups.
Eight teams will make the playoffs each year. The winner of each division and one wild card team. The wild card will go to the team with the highest winning percentage in each league that is not a division winner.
For each league, the first week of the playoffs will match the playoff team with the highest winning percentage against the playoff team with the lowest winning percentage (regardless of whether or not that team is the wild card team). The other match-up will be the 2nd and 3rd highest winning percentage teams.
The second week of the playoffs for each league will consist of the winners of the first week's H2H match-up.
The final two playoff weeks will be the World Series, matching the winners of each league against each other. The World Series statistics will be compiled by the League Commissioners and posted on both the Message Boards and Fantrax.
Playoff Tie-Breakers:
(Same as MLB's "Breaking ties without playoff games" rules) 1. Team with best record in head to head play 2. Team with best record in intradivision games 3. The team with the best overall record in the regular season 4. Random
