Hey guys! I'm Nate. I'm currently a graduate student living in Maine, though I'm originally from Rhode Island. My favorite team is the Boston Red Sox, current favorite player is Brock Holt (though Hunter Pence is a close second), historical player is Nomar Garciaparra.
Favorite Baseball Factoid: Tony Gwynn struck out only 16 times in 1992, over the course of 569 plate appearances. Favorite Baseball Statistic: wRC+
Fun fact: The first Red Sox game I ever got to attend was in Tampa Bay in 2007. It was Jon Lester's second start back from beating cancer (before that, I got to see the Pawtucket Red Sox almost get no-hit a lot).
By the way Justin, I'm ridiculously jealous. I love Beyond the Box Score; they've been my home page for almost a year now.

Post by Diamondbacks GM (JT) on Sept 26, 2015 4:39:08 GMT
Name: JT C.
Occupation: Undergraduate student at Barrett @ ASU
From: Arizona
Favorite MLB Team: Arizona Diamondbacks
Favorite Player (Present): Paul Goldschmidt Favorite Player (Past): Luis Gonzalez
Favorite Baseball Factoid: Don't really have one off the top of my head, but following the theme above, Joe Sewell only struck out three times during the entire 1930 season (353 at bats). Two of them were in the same game. And then he did it again in 1932 in 200 more at bats. Favorite Baseball Statistic: wRC+
Fun Fact: Again, stealing ideas, but I used to write for Grading on the Curve, although it was a short stint.

El Guapo (Waterboy) GM of the New York Yankees franchise.
Retired English Professor/Writer.
Live in downtown St Petersburg FL, so we follow the Rays, of course.
Favorite Player Past: Mickey Mantle Favorite Current Player: Kevin Kiermaier
Fun Fact: Picked the Yankees franchise because we were born in the Bronx and grew up a Yankees fan. We have lived in Florida almost all of our life and taught at various colleges and universities in the Tampa Bay area, finishing at U. of South Florida, in Tampa. Wrote for hundreds of national circulation newspapers and magazines. Have no single favorite player these days. We only posted Kiermaier above because we admire how hard he plays the game, every play in centerfield, every at bat, every ground ball run out as though the 7th game of the World Series was on the line.
Second Fun Fact: We live in an apartment building in downtown St Pete, a block from the Bay; Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig lived in this building back in the day.
Third Fun Fact: In 1941 Joe DiMaggio batted .357, with 30 HR and 125 RBI in 541 at bats and had an OPS of 1.083 -- he struck out 13 times.

Scott
I am a Vendor Manager for Chase and am enrolled full time in an MBA program.
I live in Metro Phoenix
My favorite team is the Padres
My all time favorite player is Willie Mays
My current favorite player is AJ Pollack
All the FanGraphs nerds are going to shake their heads, but my favorite stats are OPS+ and ERA+
I still can't believe that Tony Gwynn never struck out more than 40 times in any season. Amazing
I sometimes write for various Padres blogs/fan sites.
