I know the Dodgers took over a very incomplete roster and was quite far behind when it came to prospects, so I'd like to compensate him in some way. This could be in the form of picks.
I wanted to get a public opinion though. Is this fair? Let me know the amount/placement of such picks if you were to go through with it by posting below.

As long as they are newly created picks for him and not picks or players other teams lose and it doesn't disrupt the flow of the draft it's ok with me. As for location, I'd say just give him 2 picks where he already has a pick but add no time. So he gets 1 hour for the two picks combined. This keeps the draft moving and keeps the draft time slot integrity. I'm open to others' thoughts on how many. Maybe 6? One in round 20 and every 5 rounds thereafter? (20,25,30,35,40,45) Or one per round for the next few then another few later on?

I proposed that we pick for the Dodgers a long time back, so I'm obviously fine with it.

I probably should stay out of this thread but I just wanted to say that having picks in round 20, 25, 30, etc... doesn't really do anything for me. At that point I'm getting like the 700th best prospect in baseball whose ultimate ceiling is a 5th outfielder or something. Sure it's something, but I mean...

How about two sandwich picks in the next amateur draft? A 1st supplemental and a 2nd supplemental? I think Shaun is already playing the !ong game anyway and these may help recoup more valuable specs than anything we could do with this draft. Either that or more Int'l signing money, though I am not completely clear on how that works.

I've decided to give Shaun a 1st round compensation pick in next year's amateur draft and an extra $1,500,000 in international signing money.
Good luck.
