Each day, a new set of 15 guys will be added, no matter how many are still up for bidding.

The last two bids (Twins and Indians) are invalid. I'm not sure if you guys saw the Orioles' post with 30 bid points.

Justin, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but I'm wondering if adding 15 guys up to auction per day could have too many balls in the air for too many teams. You can conceivably see certain auctions going on for days if a bid has to stand unchallenged for 24 hours. So, already, in the first day, we'll most likely have 30 guys up for auction. Tough to plan out bids with that many opportunities to get guys.

If players aren't being consistently introduced to bid on then the ones still on the board will keep getting bumped to unnecessarily high bids and will keep knocking the market out of whack

It's definitely a balance. This is why it is super important that every owner is very active during the first few weeks of the season.

I'm sorry I've missed the meeting and much of the conversation so far. Has the start date for bidding already been set? Will it begin on the 5th?

Yeah, the auction is beginning on 11/5. I'm going to send out an email either tonight or tomorrow to prepare everyone.
